With summer weather starting to knock down the door on the West Coast i thought I would run you through one of my favourite forms of fishing. Crabbing! Having heard there were a few nice big schools of WA Salmon hanging around off the coast of Hamelin Bay, I thought it would be worth the day trip down there to check things out.  It didn't take much strolling along the beach before we came across a monster school! The lure of choice was a 30g Halco Twisty which came in very handy as the school was sitting a fair way off the shore. We caught some epic Dhufish jigging in deep water off of Jurien the other day. It was a day after the full moon and we were expecting a quiet bite but thought we'd have a crack anyway. The bite was slow in the morning and we worked our way out to the deep water. We found some solid sambos in the 40s but it was the demersals we were after.
